Makhaniyo by HV began with something very personal — a young family looking for better food options for their little one.
Dhruvil and Jalpa became parents to their baby girl in July 2025. Like every new parent, they wanted to make thoughtful choices about what their little one ate.
Around eight months later, when they started exploring new foods and snacks for their baby, they found themselves asking a simple question:
“Why is it so difficult to find something that is both tasty and made with care?”

From Our Home to Your Home
What started as an idea in their own home slowly became a passion.
Dhruvil and Jalpa began experimenting with makhana, flavours and different combinations in their home kitchen. They wanted to create snacks that were enjoyable, crunchy and full of flavour, while keeping the process as thoughtful and hands-on as possible.
At Makhaniyo, every makhana is handpicked, while our spice blends and roasting are prepared in-house from our home-grown setup.
From selecting the makhana to experimenting with flavours, every step is personal.
Because when you’re making something for your own family, you naturally want to make it with care.
Why
Makhana?
We loved makhana because it is naturally light, crunchy and incredibly versatile.
But we also believed it could be so much more than the plain snack we grew up knowing.
So we started giving it exciting flavours — creating a range that brings together the familiar goodness of makhana with the joy of discovering something new.

Makhaniyo isn’t a brand that started in a boardroom.
It started at home.
It started with a baby girl, two parents, a simple question and a desire to create something better.
After months of experimenting and building the brand from the ground up, Makhaniyo by HV officially launched in July 2026.
Today, every pack we make carries the same thought that started it all:
